Meet Dr. Jennifer K. Hardesty
Jennifer K. Hardesty, DDS
Originally from Goldsboro, NC, Dr. Jennifer Karen Hardesty attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. She then attended New York University College of Dentistry in New York City where she received a Certificate in Clinical Research and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After completing her doctorate program in 2009, Dr. Hardesty returned to Eastern NC and practiced in Jacksonville and Surf City.
Dr. Hardesty is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients and aims to make them feel as comfortable as possible. She especially enjoys seeing children and giving them a positive outlook on dental care. She spends many hours in continuing education classes every year and is currently taking courses to become a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the world's largest dental implant organization. She is a member of the American Dental Association and NC Dental Society. She is also the former Vice President of the Cape Fear Dental Study Club. Dr. Hardesty also volunteers her services to provide dental care for patients at NC Mission of Mercy and St. Mary’s Health Center in Wilmington, NC.
When she is not helping people with their dental needs, she enjoys the outdoors and watching UNC Tarheel football and basketball with her husband David, and their rescue dogs, Buster and Charlie.
